Soft Skills Development

It's been more than a year for me to be jobless. I have tried my best to find a job but this job gap and my age has played a vital role to keep me jobless. The reason is that many companies are having age limit of 30 and they don't want a gap in your employment. But these factors (Age and Job Gap) are not my creation. These are the natural circumstances which kept growing with the time.

But as I'm an optimistic person, instead of just sitting idle and waiting for a miracle to happen in my life, I worked towards improving my skills. I have improved my typing speed. I have developed Soft Skills.

I'm writing some tips, how I improved them while I kept my job search on by increasing my age and job gap :)

I had heard a lot that Soft Skill enhance your career. So, I decided to work on this and utilize my time.

Communication Skills : First I worked on my communication skills. Earlier, I was good in writing but not so much confident while speaking. So, I went through Grammar book and focused mainly on Tenses, Active Passive and Direct & Indirect Speech. My written communication skills were enhanced. I also kept watching YouTube videos and it improved my verbal communication skills as I learnt how to pronounce the words correctly and it also helped me to be a good listener.

Positive Attitude : It improved naturally as I am an optimistic person and even when I'm jobless for a long time, I have a hope for better carrier and future. So, I have become more confident and patient. So, always have a positive attitude that things will become better.

Team Work/Team Player : I am ready to share my experience and knowledge with team so I can work well with others. I accept their feedback and also appreciate their work. I concentrate on the work and the expected output instead of office politics.

Showing Commitment : I'm very dedicated towards my work. I believe in dedication, determination and discipline. As of now, I'm more confident, enthusiastic and enjoy hard work.

Thanks for this time which I got to improve my Soft Skills for a better career ahead and better personal life as well.
